The GT500 ABs do sound awesome. I would highly recommend them. I put up another post about my second track day. I'm going to try to finish editing the videos and put them up on youtube within the next day or two. When I get them uploaded I will link them in my other post.

great driving. i had no idea these cars are capable of 12.4 stock. i always see them in the low 13's and rarely in the 12's. whats your technique to launching. is it clutch slip and throttle modulation. do you hold it at 3k and then slip the clutch for the rpms do drop some and be very light on the gas and then once you hook you nail the gas or do you hold at 3k and then slip the clutch while feathering the gas some? i know these cars have to be launched down low so thats something im def not used to, (used to own a honda) dont flame but different worlds apart as far as launching goes.

Great run OP! Killer 60' for just MT drag radials and a practically bone stock 5.0. Well done!

I would hold at 3k and as soon as i feel the clutch engage give it a little more gas. Hold there til the clutch is all the way out and the WFO. It worked well for me. It is kind of hard to explain more than that but patience at the line with the clutch and throttle make a big difference. And making good fast shifts can shave many tenths of your time as well.

AMShaneLesky: DRs and LCAs with relocation brackets are my next mod. I have 7k on my car now and wheel hop is getting worse.

also waiting to mat the gas until you really feel the rear end squat down helps as well.
