That's equivalent to 2 500ml bottles. I think 1 should do the trick, but I'd buy 2 just in case. That way you have extra

EDIT: I'm a little late to the party!

Have you jumped on the SRF bandwagon? It's a good one to be on!

Do I understand correctly that the advantage of the SRF is that it does not absorb moisture; which means you don't have to worry about storing opened containers?

SRF still absorbs moisture but its higher "wet" boiling point is what makes it shine (meaning its boiling point after "standardized moisture" absorption. Storing opened brake fluid in containers is still not advised

The wet boiling point is about 100F higher than anything else out there. So as it absorbs moisture, it still maintains a very high temp boiling point and requires basically no bleeding through a season.

I was OCD'ing about the open container -- since it comes in relatively large Liter bottles, it's likely we'll have an opened (and reclosed) container around for a long time, and "they" always recommend against that . . . . I guess we're saying that is not a problem because even "wet" it still has very high boiling point.

I don't have any data, but my open container from previous season gets fed into the system as spare fluid as needed. So basically I'm with you in that i do not worry about the leftover fluid since even "wet" it has high temp capability

Not yet but I will. Just like with the GT500 rear brake upgrade. Next time I do a bleed will be with Castrol. As a side note, I've been using Castrol Edge 5W-50 motor oil, and I'm pretty impressed with it after 2 drain intervals.
