Today at the SCCA races at Mid-Ohio, I saw the first '05 A sedan Mustang. It wasn't too competetive, running back with some of the lower-budget Foxes and 3rd Gen F bodies, but it sure was pretty. I think once it's fully sorted, it should be pretty strong. I woulda snapped a picture, but I left my camera phone in the car.

 

Cool . . .how similiar to the Grand-Am Cup '05's do you think the A sedan version is?

 

I'm guessing it's fairly different. As far as the engine, A Sedan still requires a carbed pushrod 5.0. Not sure about suspension differences, but this one started out as a body in white, rather than a package from Ford.
