I have seen many posts on Zaino wax, what is it and how hard is it to apply? I was planning on using a Mequires wax for paint protection and shine when my Torch Red GT Convertible arrives next month Cheers

I just got my torch red GT vert, and I have to say, I was skeptical about Zaino. I gave it a try, and I loved it. I would take a pic for you, but she is covered in pollen right now. The on thing that bothered me about it was application. Am I supposed to not be able to tell where I am putting it b/c it goes on so light? I know one ounce is supposed to do the whole car. Anyway...left a great shine.

Oh, now you've done it... Zaino insn't wax, it's a polish. Don't ask me all the differences, but I said it wrong once and caught heck for it.
That said, I saw it in person for the first time last weekend, and immediately ordered mine... should be here soon.
Also, look at their website, they have a lot of great info there. zainostore.com

Zaino is a synthetic polish, best used on a nice finish. Nothing can touch Zaino for durability, it will outlast anything in the industry on your paint. Been a strict Zaino user for over 5 years now, nothing else will do. Gotta go put on the 3,569,431st coat right now!

If you look at everything written about Zaino and then look at the price you will begin to tell yourself that there is no way it is worth the money they want for it and my goodness that sounds like a lot of work just for a (Wax). I can tell you that it is worth every penny and every ounce of work for the first application! EVERY PENNY!
of course that is just my 2 pennies worth!

Nope. Klasse All-In-One Wax coupled wiht Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze outlasts anything with its acrylic protection. Zaino does shine better than it though (unless you top the Klasse with a nice Carnubab like the $70 Souveran, which beats Zaino in shine and looks but it will cost you).

So with all these posts, what Zaino product(s) are best to order to do the treatment for a new GT Convertible? Do you have to be careful on plastic trim parts?

One of the great things about Zaino is that it doesn't leave a residue on plastic parts. It's also very easy to put on and even easier it seems to take off. You've got to love a company that says when in doubt, use less. And it's true. You only need a very light coat to do the job. As far as what to get, order one of the kits. I was very skeptical at first but it absolutely transformed my wifes 2000 Black Explorer and brought out a great deep shine on my car.
Good luck!

Actually, Klasse All-in-One and Menzerna FMJ blow Zaino out of the water.
