Talking

Well it was nice and gorgeous out today, so I decided to start the ritual for the season....
During a claybar session last night I found 2 HUGE scratchs on the hood. Oh well, can't keep them new forever. 2x coats of Z5 hid them..and I'm sure a 3rd would do even better. and 1 x coat of Z2Pro.

Next weekend even more Z2pro to go on....

Enjoy:

Lookin' great, Boomer.

Hey, those exhaust tips have a slightly more sharp angle / edge than mine from Ford. Where did you get yours? I like the way they look.

Or, maybe yours are the same tips, but shoved back a bit further onto the aluminum tips from the muffler??

Zaino is great from the results I see. But I think some are getting the false impression that only Zaino can produce amazing results. There are others and if you have questions, ask.

BUT, it looks amazing. Great job Boomer!

I hear it only takes one ounce for an entire car, according to the website. How does that work?

On the tires i use Zaino Tire Gloss...its not super shiny but it makes them look rich and healthy....and won't dry out the rubber.

Maucoin...the tips are part of the Borla package. They are slash/rolled 4" mirrored stainless steel tips. And they rule! Look awsome.

Are there alternatives to zaino? for sure.
It all depends on what you like.
I've used a lot of waxes/polishes, and so far zaino is the best i've seen/used.

Yes you use VERY little when polishing. A little goes a long way.
If you are doing it and you see a clump/streak...you've used too much.
You almost just glaze it, enough to get it on...let it dry..wipe it off...booyaka

Have you guys tried NXT? I use it and love it. I have read on detailing forums that you get the same shine as Zaino. I personally like the availability factor and ease of use.

I am going to wax my black GT tomorrow. Clay bar, then some polish, then top it off with NXT. Will post some pics when done.

Is there any elbow grease required with Zaino, or is it just a wipe on/wipe off thing?

when I did my two coats on my performance white it was just wipe on wait 30minutes(used the Z-2 and accel.)wiped off--NO elbow grease, really user friendly.
