I need to get some glass cleaner. I can't find the right stuff that won't leave the steaky foggy film. The dealer said it was from the heat and fumes from the dash cleaner.

Any ideas?

there is this stuff at wal-mart or autozone type places called "invisi-glass" or something. Its in a black and green areosol can (i know i'm killing the ozone). It works pretty good.

Actually, you are NOT harming the ozone by using any recently produced aerosols. CFC's are the "ozone killers", and most manufacturers began voluntarily fazing them out over 20 years ago. In 2001, it became mandatory. About the ONLY CFC use anymore is certain asthma inhalers.

One of my company's product lines is aerosol-based, and we've had to help educate a lot of users about this... More Reading Here

I bought a can of Stoner Invisible Glass at Walmart. $3.79

The stuff is awsome. It lives up to it's claim of "Cleans glass so well, you'll think it's invisible."

The only side affect is the inside of your car smell like a meth lab for a couple of days.

Highly reccommended. Makes the glass perfect. Only thing is it brings out the imperfections on your windshield.

I use rain x super glass cleaner concentrate. No smell Works great in the house too on mirrors. I started using it when I smoked and it removed snoke film.

Even with Eagle One's glass cleaner which many love, I find Windex (with ammonia!) to be best in my Mustang -- one secret is to use newspaper and not lint free cloth or paper towel -- the newspaper stinks up the liquid and leaves no streak somehow (it's cheap too)

Meguiar's NXT Generation Glass Cleaner is superior to Invisible Glass. One spray is enough to clean half the windshield streak-free. Plus, unlike IG's chemical odor, NXT smells like sweet Key Lime Pie.
