Wow, what a job. I just spent 7 hours washing, drying, and waxing my LL 05.

I used Blue Corral car wash, dried with The Absorber, and waxed with Meguiars NXT.

The wax was great, easy on, easy off. I put 2 coats just because I didnt have anything better to do.

I tell you this car was the hardest one I have ever washed and dried. There are so many little nooks and crannys for dirt and water to settle. This is going to be a tough car to keep clean! It takes so much time if its done right.

Around every window, there is a groove that dirt can collect in (I live on a dirt road so it is everywhere). And after washing, water stands there as well. I wanted to dry it so it wouldnt spot.

The front grill with the honey comb, wow, thats going to be real tough come love bug season! The edges are so narrow, I cant get even my skinny fingers in there! And water collects too, so every one needs dryed individually! Some of them are not hollow, so they will really trap dirt and bugs.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE this car! It was so worth waiting for. And now it is really beautiful!

pics to follow....

Burke0011:
Yup, cloudy and windy here too. Perfect actually because I didnt have to find any shade. Not too cold, not too hot! (although I still wore flannel over a T - Im a very cold person) :P For those of you northern folks, it is a very brisk 68 today.

I looked, and you are right, the pictures were gone, then I tried again, and they were there. I am using picvault.info. I will upload them to my personal website when I get a chance, then they will work all the time. sorry about that....

Can't wait til I have one to clean. With my 3/4 mile long gravel driveway I will be busy keeping it clean. It taught me the hardway that black vehicles and it don't mix.

That car is a beauty! I do SO love Lime, and its my only regret- I love my yellow but the lime I still REALLY love.

Today was in the high 60s and SUNNY! Eleanor got a complete interior and exterior detail sans wax as well.....I don't do wax. I wait till the MAN is bored and he does it. She is no longer an embarassment.
