"tweaking the detail"....
Today I will be doing final "tuning and tweaking detailing" to Lauren Renee for tomorrow's Mustang Car Club of New England's Mustang and American Iron show at the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough, Massachusetts. It is our first show of the year, we missed the first event because was I was in vacation in Aruba in May.
Over the last 7 days, I washed her, detailed the engine bay, cleaned the seats, carpeting and mats, detailed the interior surfaces, placed paper mats over the carpeting to protect it and put a fresh coat of Meguiar's #21 synthetic sealant topped with Meguiar's #26 Hi tech yellow wax.
When I get to the show site (it's 7 miles from the Casa DaGonz), I will go over the car with Meguiar's #34 final inspection QD, Meguiar's Interior QD, Meguiar's Wheel QD, and Stoner's Invisible Glass to take car of anything picked up from the road, then use the Dustbuster to go over the carpets one last time before having the car judged.
We have won 5 trophies since we joined the MCCNE, going for #6!

When my car was being judged, I noticed that I had missed a little dust on the wiper cowl from the drive over to Auburn (about 19 miles from the Casa DaGonz) ... my car was being inspected just as the sun peeked through an opeing in the clouds and I noticed it... just as the judges did... totally pi$$ed me off 
.
On the bright side, it was the 2nd nicest car in the class!
