It's time for the underdog to step into the ring. For those who want a showroom shine on their Mustangs, but can't afford Zaino products, try Simply Z-Best Car Wax ($19.95 for two bottles).

I first discovered this wax at this year's L.A. Auto Show, when I dropped by the company's booth. It made my 1999 Civic HX Coupe look brand new, as it stripped the blemishes off the paint job like they weren't there. It also removed the oxidation off the headlights.

And ever since I got my Mustang V6, I don't use any wax other than Simply Z-Best. Zaino may be good, but the results are usually noticeable only on darker colors. With Simply Z-Best, I get great results when I see them on my color.

Yes, but is Zaino fire-resistant?

Is it meteor resistant? I'm really concerned about this because where I live, we are constantly bombarded with these thoughtless objects. It's almost like they seek me out!

I just received my order of Simply Z-Best Tire Shine. Haven't tried it on my tires, but here are the results on the engine and mirror covers:

And scottma, take your photos off this thread. This is NOT a Zaino thread.

I would be happy to accommodate your request to remove the photos but I honestly have no idea how to do it. I regret any confusion or concern I may have caused you by posting in this thread. A moderator might be able to eliminate my pics for you. Best of luck to you. I hope I can try this fine product some day.

Simply Z-Best Car Wax uses Carnauba in its formula. Unlike most waxes, which have to dry up before you need to wipe them off, Z-Best works immediately on the surface while it's still wet and hazy. As a result, you can wax the hood in less than two minutes. And it doesn't leave any residue like most waxes do.

As for Zaino, there are about a hundred threads on this Forum that talks about nothing but Zaino. I just wish a moderator can simply combine all of them into one thread and pin it.

Ok, I absolutely do not want to ruffle anybody's feathers,(and I've never used the infamous Zaino either) but I was at car show a long time back and seen a "chunk" carnuba. This particular booth was was promoting that their product was carnuba free. I must admit, the carnuba was a very unsightly to look at, a very dark yellowish color, and their claim was this was why anyone would want to use this on their cars finish (basically their claim was the fact that over time this would build up on your cars finish and hide the true color) I'm not saying that Simply Z- best is'nt an excellent product, but is there any truth to the reason why I've also tried to stay away from any wax that contained Carnuba? (I noticed that Z-Best has Carnuba )

By the way Jeremy, the shine on your car looks great.

Thanks for the compliments, Rob. I've found nothing wrong with Simply Z-Best. AFAIK, wax buildup is usually caused by a poor-quality wax and/or improper use. Give Simply Z-Best a try. Besides, there's a money-back guarantee if you don't like it.

Contact them and tell them that one of the bottles was ruptured. They'll send you a replacement.
