Right by the glove box .. I have tried to get it off and thought it was gone but it comes back. Has anyone found something to use on the plastic to remove a scratch? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'd try meguiar's plastic cleaner or plastic polish on it. As long as the scratch isnt' too deep, this should improve it. The cleaner is stronger than the polish.
