Scratch in Door Sill Plates?
I have a small scratch in my 06 GT's IUP aluminum door sill plates.![Doh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/doh.gif)
It is about 1/4" in length and I can feel it with my fingernail.
I used a bit of Barkeeper's Friend cleanser to no avail.
I think if I used anything more aggressive such as a 2000 grit wetsand, I may be fubared. (yeah, I've seen 'em on fleabay for 40 bucks)
Any suggestions?

If you can feel it with your fingernail, it is deep in the material.
Unless you can "cut" this out on a grinder / polishing pad, you have to replace it.
Sorry.
