I was looking through the forum and noticed there weren't any topics on Rain-x. So I started one to reccommend it to everyone. They've recently come out with several new products like Anti-Fog, their own autodry wash, and a car wash w/ wax in one fell swoop. One less step than armor all's new solution.

Most people think they only sell 'that stuff that keeps the water rollin off' but they've got windshield washer blades, de-icer, and windshield washer fluid that applies rainx everytime you use your car's jets.

It's been rainin alot down here in SC lately so I've really come to appreciate this stuff. You can check em all out right here

I've only used the windsheild stuff. Haven't put it on my Mustang yet as I've waxed the front windshield and wanna see how NXT does compared to Rain-X.

Rain-X was great though, wouldn't have to turn on the windsheild wipers at all with that stuff.

I used to use the rain-x windshield de-icer in my Subaru for firefighting in the winter to get rid of the frost. The stuff worked great! Only downside was that it left this filmy residue along the sides. Other than that it worked great, but now I have remote start

As for windshield wipers I use Anco or Trico

Big fan of Rain-X; can't say the same for their windshield washer fluid

Love rain-x for the outside, but the antifog inside left smears in an oily residue. I went woth Stoenrs Glass cleaner on the inside.

Love Rain X, but the Fog-X leaves a lot of film, don't like it.

I guess I am in the minority here in that I don't like the long term effects of using Rain-X. To me, it makes cleaning the windows almost impossible. I mean to truly get the windows brand new glass clean. And yes, it may cause the water to bead up and drop off the car, but it has the same effect to water with suds in it. I call it the Armor All of window treatment or Crack for your Glass. Use it once and you have to keep on using it.

Yes, it is harder to get them perfectly clean, always seems to have a little haze on them.
