Overspray on a car!!!!! advice needed!!!!!

Hey everyone, I have a vehicle, not my GT, that has overspray or rather splatter all over it. Most of the spots are very small, but some look to be about the size of a dot that a sharpie marker would make. The paint is exterior latex and is water based. Any ideas on how to safely remove it from a vehicle. The vehicle in question is a 01 pewter Chevy 2500 HD. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Go with claybar first & if that doesn't work on it then step up to a cleaner/wax with a light abrasive. If that doesn't work on it then go with a rubbing compound. The claybar should do the trick though.

Start with the easy stuff. It's only latex paint.
Throw a wet cloth on it for a while and see how much comes off.
If that doesn't work use "Goof- Off" or "Oops" cleaner.
Why waste claybar on something that should come off easily.

Products like Goof-Off should not be used on most plastics and automotive paints -- always test in an inconspicuous area first.

I prefer Goo-Gone for adhesive and stubborn substance removal as it is milder and more benign.

I'm not familiar with Oops.

You could resort to mineral spirits on cured paint.

If there are many small splatters, the safest bet would likely be clay. If a mild over-the-counter clay doesn't work, try an aggressive clay from a paint or detail supply. Meguiar's has one in their pro line.
