Opticoated my daily drivers rims and license plates

Bring it on stupid winter!!! Snow showers and up to 1" accumulation they say. Knowing my stupid city, they will throw salt down. So, I opticoated my daily driver rims for now, until I get my winter rims on. Too early to put them on so I don't want premature wear on them.

I also opticoated my license plates.

I love that stuff....I put it on my RTR's since they are a pain to clean and helps keep the brake dust off and easier to clean. One day I will do the whole car.

Great idea! Opti-Coat is definitely the best form of protection for wheels.

Does it look streaky, gummy, or hazy.
Do tell. Very interested as I've never heard of it until now.

It doesn't look streaky..gummy..hazy it goes on clear and provides very good protection. I put it on my wheels and brake dust doesn't hardly stick on them and they make cleaning them really easy. I think its perfect for daily drivers that stay out all the time. Basically clean your wheels, wipe it down with alcohol/water, and apply a even coat and your done. A little goes a long way.
