New Mustang...Wash/Wax/Detail Advice

Well guys I finally got my new mustang and was wondering what everyone was using as far as wash/wax/detail? What kind of process should I use after getting the car...wax/clay bar etc.

Start with searching for posts by FromZto5 - he's definitely the most hardcore detailer I've seen on here, and has posted a couple great guides. But a a basic level, wash it consistently and wax it 2-3 times per year and you'll be in pretty good shape. Only weird thing on the 11-12 cars is the black plastic needing some extra TLC.

Wash, Clay bar, Swirl remover, polish, then wax. Then do the inside of wipe, clean, leather conditioner. Last the glass inside and out. Then twice a year clean under the frame. I'm at about 75% of the cars shows I go to I win something (best of, top 40, best muscle car, etc.). This year I decided to go SCCA Autocross/solo racing. Now thats alot of fun.
