Ok so i bought a mustang GT last thursday and have been very up tight about keeping it clean. I live in the chicago suberbs so we have very humid summers and snowy winters. That plus no garage equals one sad pony.

Anyways.. i was just wondering what i can do to make sure my car stays clean and rust free for a long time. Ive never really used any cleaning products before but have been thinking about ordering some zaino products to use. Just seeing if anybody has any other cheaper methods that will have the same affect.

Another question is rust proofing. Ive heard about a place called "Ziebart" that can do it. Their is one near my house. Im just wondering from people who have gotten their rust proofing treatment from them whether it was money well spent or not? Or if you have gotten any of the other treatments on your car?
