My 1st Detail using Wolfgang

My 1st Detail using Wolfgang
I'm a longtime Poorboy's user, & I've always been happy with how my cars turn out. But every so often I like to experiment with other brands, so last winter I ordered a sample jar of Wolfgang Fuzion wax & used it as an LSP on my black 09. I loved what I saw, so I decided to try a full detail with Wolfgang. I ordered their 3.0 glaze/polish, & their 3.0 deep paint sealant, & gave the wife's race red GT/CS a good detail. I clayed the car, then hit it with my PC & the glaze/polish. Then I gave it a coat of the sealant, & a coat of Fuzion the next day.
Race Red isn't the easiest color to get good showoff pics of, so they might not really show the finish. So far, I'm impressed by what I see. I'm not prepared to say I like Wolfgang better than Poorboy's, I need to do a few more cars with it first. But I will say that Wolfgang is some good stuff.

Very, Very nice looking. And Fuzion is a great product like the entire Wolfgang line. We use them here, just hard to convince folks with the product cost at times, but well worth the investment.
Great looking car dude.

Thanx guys! I can't wait to do my black 09. I was thinking about detailing it before the big All Ford & Mustang show in Indy this weekend, but I think I'll wait. Triple digit heat coming the next few days!

This was after I gave my 09 its spring detail. All Poorboy's (SSR2.5, SSR1, Black Hole Glaze, & EX-P Sealant), but topped off with Wolfgang Fuzion. That's what got me wanting to try a full Wolfgang detail.

Careful - that's one of the softest clear-coat's you'll find on the market. Also keep in mind that New Formula Red has a tinted clear-coat so your pads will turn slightly pinkish when polishing.

I certainly hope it can't be any softer than my 370Z... that was terrible.

And yes... it certainly IS softer. Polish carefully and know it shouldn't take all too much to get defects out and have her looking amazing.

Agree.. Easy to polish soft clears, but very easy to put swirls back in. All our Hondas are like that. Our black odyssey and civic I'd have to polish lightly once a year. Normal weekly washings would slowly but surely put swirls back in.... And that's coming from an experienced detailer.

Since it's relevant, this is the Wolfgang 3.0 polish/glaze combo on my NFR S2000. It helped to get rid of most of the swirling and bring back the factory gloss of the paint. Unfortunately as an S2000 it's so low with a long and sloping hood with flared front fenders it catches EVERY bit of debris on the road... so it's lived a hard life. At some point the hood/bumper/fenders might need a respray.
I still need to finish sealing and waxing it.
