I've heard a lot of recommendations for NXT and was wondering how long it generally lasts (for beading water) when your car is parked outside?

How easy is it to apply and remove?

I've been using Klasse All-in-One and Klasse Glaze with decent results but I'm always looking for something better.

 

I use it, and I've found that depending on how often you wash the car it will last maybe 2-3 months. I wax my car at least once a month, so it's a non-issue for me. Application and removal is really easy, no residue. All you need is a ultra thin coat applied, not heavy at all, and the bottle will last a very long time.

I thought about switching to Zaino because everyone is so crazy about it, but for the money and ease of use, NXT is the best IMO.

 

Washing the car 2X a month it should still bead water at 4-5 months at least. This is on my daily driver, 55 miles a day.

 

Yupper I'd agree I also use NXT and works well for me by far the best that I have found yet ! Looks so nice when buffed, like a mirror gaze.

 

How is NXT compared to Klasse AIO?

 

NXT is incredible. I wash my car 4-5 times a week and its been on a couple months and beads like no tomorrow. I can wash my car at the dealer in 15 minutes so I do it on my way out the door-do one really good wash a week with wheel wells, inner wheels, full vac and glass, ect.....Keep all my stuff in the car so I only need a bucket and water. Have a free supply of hot/cold water and compressed air(plus all the dealer supplies if I need it), and never have to clean up after myself Works so well its pointless for me to try anything else.

 

NXT is great and for touch ups, the spray wax works well too.
I use the detail daily to clean the bugs off my bumper when I get home from work.

 

Have been using NXT for over a year, love it. So easy to use and leaves a GREAT Shine.

 

ditto with everyone else NXT works great. It also helps to use the whole Mequiar's line though...such as wash mitts, car wash, Mequiar's drying towels,microfiber cloths for polishing. Meguairs Scratch X for minor scratches.

 

does any one use it like a wax as you dry wax?

 

I love these products!

 

It is used like a normal wax, the spray wax, wax as you dry sprays, and quick detailer are different products

 

I bought some NXT at Meijer's because of their 15% off sale.

It works similar to Klasse All-In-One, but has a lemony scent, and appears to contain a sh*tload more cleaners/solvents than Klasse AIO. My microfiber applicator became gummed up from the solvents and removed oxidation.

The appearance and condition of the treated paint surface was not different from Klasse AIO (not better or worse). I do not like how much solvent it contains and will go back to Klasse AIO.

 

How do you know it has more or greater amounts of solvents ? readig a new bow & can't see it , if it does how could it make it look darker and richer if it did have a heavy solvent content ? would that not fade the paint in time ?

 

It didn't make the paint look darker or richer. It gave approximately the same results as Klasse AIO, except the NXT gummed up my applicator and made it turn black (oxidation removed from clearcoat surface). The only way to remove that much oxidation is with solvents or abrasives, neither of which I particularly.

 

I was a big fan of NXT, however, the more that I use it, the less I like it. I have a black car, and it consistantly looks greasy after use. To be honest, I've been using NuFinish on and off for years. I have found it to be the most user frienly, with the best results.

 

If you like NuFinish, you will LOVE Klasse AIO. I sh*t you not, go and buy Klasse AIO and you won't ever want to use NuFinish.

 

Sometimes I have a problem with the greasy look with both NXT and 3M Mirror Glaze. I dunno, but it's like the stuff sometimes refuses to dry completely to a haze. When you try to buff it, the towel just seems to spread the greasy spot or move it around. I've used both NXT liquid and paste (I prefer the paste). It doesn't happen everytime, most of the time I get good results. If it happens again, I was thinking about going back to the old One Grand Blitz Wax.

 

I used Zaino on my 2005 and that stuff was still beading up close to a year after I put it on!

I am using NXT on my 2006 Vert and put it on in mid-March, and I just washed my car yesterday (obviously several times since March as well, lol) and it's still beading up nicely... I put two coats on and have been very happy!

 

what's better the paste or spray?
and i've seen three kinds: past, spray bottle, and boxed bottle.
what's the difference?
