Anyone highly recommend products to keep leather looking great as well as dash products?

I bought some Meguires Gold Class Dash Wipes for now. Don't like armour-all on the inside of the car. Tires only. Too sticky and I think it dries the plastic out?

Also, when should I put the leather product on since the car is new?

Dan,

I've got the ZAINO BROS. leather car for my 05. they have two items for this:

LEATHER SOFT SPRAY CLEANER

&

LEATHER TREATMENT & CONDITIONER

i agree with you about armorall...my wife used it on her leather upholstry in her chrysler...bad news. it looks like surface of the sahara desert, dried and cracked like crazy.

i'm going to give the meguires gold dash wipes a try for cleaning the dash, for dusting it i have been using a swiffer towel. it's dry so it doesn't wipe anything off and it picks up all the little dust particles really well.

I've heard nothing but good stuff about the Zaino.

Also at in the last 2 years they have had auto shows here, there has been a guy with a booth setup selling his products called IBIZ. Its really good stuff. I've got some of their wax, spray wax, car wash and leather sheen.

I've been really happy with the leather stuff (havent brought myself to use the others much). The sheen goes on easy and comes off really well. It smells good (not fancy smell, just the good leather one, but not overpowering). It also leaves teh seats with a really soft feel.

I use armor-all with the improved uv protection and it leaves a nice shine that lasts for a while. One problem that I have is that when i clean the dash, I get lint or dust all over it and I was wondering what a good applicator would be to use to put cleaner on.

My friend has been using Meguiars leather care for years and has nothing but good things to say, the best part is that it doesn't look or feel all greasy like some products do. I heard that Armor All, even the new formula will still dry out tires and cause cracking, it takes awhile but it will still happen. I'm sure the same will happen on the dash. I only use Meguiars stuff for now. I might try the Zaino stuff later when I run out.

I stopped by my local autozone tonight and saw that Meguiars has two new different leather treatments with "aloe".

A red shop towel, but wash it and then dry it, if you use a new red shop towel you will get little red lint strands all over the place.

Well, I got the new 2002 grey leather seats installed and I lucked out because they look brand new. I just need to decide what product to use. I'm looking at the Meguiars.

Use what you have. A foam wax pad(New one or a washed one with NO wax in it) or a micro fiber towel.

I've been using Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner on the leather seats in my cars for years. I give Lexol my highest recommendation based on that experience. Great product!
