I noticed the leather driver seat in my nearly 3 yr old Explorer is getting creased. I had not been conditioning the leather. I bought some Meguires cleaner/conditioner and am going to use it on my Mustang (and Explorer) going forward.

Just wondering how often does everyone condition your leather seats? Should it be only twice a year? Did a search and found no topics, only a single poster who said he was doing 2x year.

I condition my seats almost every time that I wash it (about once every 2 weeks or so). Also, I've heard the Zaino leather cleaner (Z-9) and conditioner (Z-10) works great. I'm going to buy some soon.

I use the Zaino Cleaner about once every 2 months, and the conditioner every couple of weeks.

I condition the leather with Lexol about once a month. I've haven't cleaned the leather once and I've owned the car almost a year.

I use the same and it works great ! about every two - three months remeber leather is dyed so don't be too rough and never anyone that has used hair spray will be allowed to sit ! why well I have seen what happens to a dyed leather after being intouch with hair spray ! go ahead try some on a scrap piece you'll see Meguires works for me.

The zaino leather cleaner/conditioner products are amazing. I reccomend them for the leather seats.

As long as you use a quality product (Meguires ) you could condition your leather seats daily. But you wont need to. Just apply evenly and carefully to keep that leather clean, supple and new.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I havent been able to reach the forums until today because of whatever issues they are having. Didn't even realize there was a separate 'car care' section since I'm always in 2005+.

The Meguires did a great job, I'll keep with that until it runs out then try some Zaino. I plan to order polish from them anyhow so I'll pick some up at the same time. It sounds like I can condition pretty often so I'll probably go with once a month or as the leather looks thirsty. Thanks again.
