When I get my car in a month or so, the first thing I want to do is apply something to the front end to make it esier to clean bugs and such off. Does anyone know of any kind of treatment like this or have any ideas?

Yes there are topics on this, like 3m coating, and other brands that are a clear bra basically that attaches somewhat like tint, etc. But usually has to be professionally done. But it keeps chips etc down and off front end. Somewhat pricey. here is one link or two. good luck.

When I had my 77 Cougar I drove on the highway every day , so my heighbour of 75 years age came out with a can of Pam spray oil , she said try this so I had initially only used it on the chrome and they whiped off or spayed off at wash which eliminated the bake on effect. I did try a test area on the paint and I did not have any bad effect , but I suppose the oil could heat and maybe blister the paint ? Chrome is good ! Hope it helps. Ed
