I feel like I'm crazy when I pull out the Toro to blow off the cars. Oh well, the neighbors are used to by now!

I use an air compressor to blow dirt and dust out of the nooks and crannys of the engine compartment, but you'll like the blower better for drying off the car.

Go and buy a Meguiar's Water Magnet! It dried my entire car without once needing to be wrung out!

ditch the cotton and stick with microfibre. make sure you wash them with microfibre detergent that's liquid, never powder. chuck the towels once they get crap stuck in them that you can't get out, or save them for your rims and tail pipe or engine bay. also, if you are doing it yourself, use a regular garden hose without an attachment, the water will practically fall off the car itself.

wipe from the top down, doing the lowers and bumpers last, hood and roof and decklid first.

Don't I do it before I wax it up ! and why not if you go through one of those touchless car wash's they have blowers at the end right ! so what's the difference.

Ditch it and buy a new one if it (or anything else that touches the finish) so much as touches the ground...
