Usually after rain storms pass through, leaving pollen, dirt, and water spots behind. I also like to have at least three nice days in the forecast before I wash her up nice.

Once a week, usually wax every 4-6 weeks, or when I notice the beading start to fade. Car is a daily driver.

Weeks? Don't you get buildup waxing 8 to 12 times a year? That's a lot waxing.

Not really. I clay it in the spring and again in the fall. Over time, hand washing slowly wears the protective layer that a wax/sealant provides.

After I take it out on the weekend when the weather is nice. Not a daily driver. Usually spray it down after I take it out, wash it once a month.

I will probably wash it twice a month. Since I have only had it 3 weeks, I've washed it once. Since I own a black car, it will get waxed or polished after every car wash. It's not a daily driver and I only have 350 miles on her.

ditto, but the water is so harsh here that I usually need to wax every 4-6 weeks.

Still clay it every six months though.

Always a point of pride when somebody asks me if I just bought my car even though I've had them for a few years.

I usually wash once a week. I go to car shows weekly and try to at least keep it looking presentable. I need to do my Spring detail here in the coming weeks.

Same here. I do a major detail once in the spring and again in the fall, usually six months apart. Between those details I try to keep the car meticulously clean... wash it often, and reapply the top coat of wax usually once a month. As long as you don't let the car get really dirty you can do this.

Mine's my daily driver.

I wash it once a month whether it needs it or not!

I wash and towel dry mine every 2-3 weeks; i think this sterling grey is as hard to keep clean as black, to my eyes anyway... I clay bar and wax every 3-4 months. Mine is a daily driver, but i only have to go about 6 miles a day. I actually enjoy the process of cleaning it, since you really cant work on it like you do a classic (carb, timing, etc).

Some of us have 10 hour a day jobs, and some of us have children. Some have both. Must be nice to have neither!!!

Mines a daily driver, but I would probably get some very harsh comments from my wife if I washed it twice a day, since I barely touch her twice a day! Jealousy would quickly ensue....
Besides, the Sterling Grey stays relatively clean looking, even when fairly dirty.
