help maintain my GT/CS exterior
We just bought a beautiful Vista Blue '08 GT/CS. We've not owned such a beautiful car before, and we want to maintain the pristine quality of the body and interior. Please give us advice regarding washes, wax, leather protect, wheel protect, cloth ragtop protect, etc. ANY ADVICE is greatly appreciated! We are newbies when it comes to taking care of this awesome car!

As noted in the other thread, there are many ways (including a vault) to keep your Mustang gorgeous. Use a good wash soap, a decent wax, leather products, all that.
The most problematic thing is wax on plastic, and wheel cleaners where they shouldn't be, as well as overabundance of tire shine flinging off the tires onto the paint, esp. white and the like paint. Nice and browning.
Overall, if you clean it with good products such as Macguires, Mothers, etc... you'll be fine. Read the directions, don't go overboard with the product (that has it's own problem) and you'll have the hang of it in no time.
PLEASE don't use that silicone engine cleaner. It will actually attract dirt. Never use that spray crap.
Enjoy your car, most of all. Best advice I can give ya.
