I need a better camera first. It took about 20 shots just to get that one looking fairly clear. The only other good shots I have are months old, before I got the windows tinted. (LOVE the Wincos. I laugh at the Texas sun now!!!)
I may try my daughters iPod Touch and see if that does better than my ancient Sony point-n-click.

Well, a few months back I clay barred the car, then polished it with Blackfire Glass Enhancing Polish, then a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond. Then two coats of Blackfire Midnight Sun carnuba wax.
I top it off about once every month with a fresh coat of wax, and use Meguires Ultimate Quick Detailer in between washings.
In that shot I haven't actually washed the car in almost 2 weeks. Just a quick shot of the Meguires is all it took.
About once every 6 months I wash the car (2-3 times) with Dawn and start all over.

Nice job! I've tried the Black Fire polish and didn't have very good luck with it but I've had great results with Wet Diamond. I'll have to try the Midnight sun now. I'm just about out of my BFWD and was going to try Chemical Guys Black Light, but your pics are making me want to just re-stock on Wet Diamond.

I think a lot of peoples problems with the Blackfire polish is over expectation. All it does is fill most of the microscratches so they don't show as well when you apply the Wet Diamond. It doesn't actually increase the shine so much as hide minor imperfections. (Notice I said Hide, not Fix)
I'm kicking around the idea of buying a dual action buffer and doing a proper polish job. If nothing else I can knock down some of the orange peel so it's not so obvious.
My wife says I'm OCD putting this much effort into a daily driver. My response was "I just can't help myself."

I hear ya. The main reason I bought the polish was to hide the swirls that kona loves to show so easily. I just had a heck of a time buffing it out by hand. A DA would probably make it a breeze. Plus using it on a humid day probably didn't help either.
