FRPP exhaust tips
#1
My exhaust gets this funky soot on the tips. Mainly on the bottom edge thats really stuck on. I have no cats on the car so im thinking its worse because of that. So what to clean them with and what can help protect them so the junk comes off easier?

No different than any other polished tip. Just use a good metal polish like Mothers, meguiars, Eagle one, etc. and they will look fine. I use the same polish for the tips that I use on my rims, Mothers power polish.

I'd like to add a question......
Can you ALWAYS return Stainless Steel to its polished state? I quickly used some mother's alum/mag polish and it worked pretty well but there's still some black hard soot on the tips?
Any advice?

I had the same hard black soot on the very edge of the tips..I ran up to the store and grabbed some Mequires NXT polish and it worked like a charm. MY FRPP's look brand new

You should try Master Formula Metal Gloss. It's so powerful, it makes soda cans look like chrome.
