Don't Kill me
I have another wax question
How many coats do you have on before it is too much and need a good Dawn washing to start over?
Or length of time which ever the case may be.
I have put about a six coats of Meguires on my car in the last four months.
Did not know how long the first coat would last before needing to be removed.
I did search for this question and came up with nothing, if there is a post out there already on this I do apologize.

According to my calculations... In November only 1 layer will remain if no other wax is applied.
Or do what I did with my last car, only take it out of the garage on sunny days and it will last 3 years or more.
It all depend on how much sun and weather it gets.

I just look at the beading after a good rain--more water beading after a rain then you still have plenty of wax but if the beads get larger or less of them then the wax is going away and its time for another 2 coats (usually spring & fall). You can always hit it with a good spray on wax between coats. Don't forget to put on at least 1 coat of polish before the wax to help keep it looking good.
