Detail question

This is my first Stang in a long time and wanted to know when detailing do you guys armor all the black lower pieces on your cars? My impression is no but just wanted to make sure I'm not forgetting in the cleaning process. I just clayed and waxed it this week and finishing up the interior. Thanks .

A member here, get portfolio, had me try mothers back to black. I like it a lot. It has uv protection and goes on easily.

I've used many things and this works the best that I've seen.

I have used a couple of products but the biggest thing I have found is that they look great when it's all said and done but after driving the black parts act as dust magnet that now can't be just wiped off with a cloth without making a mess. What am I missing here??

X2

I've tried the "back to black" on my Ford F150 rear bumper trim. That stuff is nothing more than black shoe polish. Get it on your hands or fingers, and it takes some scrubbing to remove. Wear gloves if you use it.

The newer Turtle Wax trim restorer is good. I use it once a month when I do the marathon day of detailing.

Moved to the car care section and I also vote for 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Poorboys trim restorer works great and a little bit goes a long way.

Left side untreated. Right side treated.
