Cleaning grill

Spray on Pam before putting the meat on.. Oh the MUSTANG grill. I got confused. I used the old toothbrush trick yesterday. Seems like every nook and cranny had a dead bug, butterfly or moth in it. I feel like such a killer.

I also use an old toothbrush. Everyone should have one in the car cleaning kit.

A drop of soap in a 16oz spray mist bottle and a soft bristle 2" paint brush. Spray a mist and clean with brush, use a clean rag to keep cleaning the water and dirt off the brush. The clean brush will dry the surface of grill. Show car clean.

Summer has not hit here yet so no stang out for a bit but what I can suggest is get a soft brissle floor scrub brush from house wares at the local store ,it will cover more area than the tooth brush and a good cleaner works well .
I use "spray 9" on my tires to clean them and give all plastic on my trucks a mist and a scrub with this it's a great cleaner (it is a good strong cleaner try to avoid getting this on your paint it can remove the car wax ),if you are not sure try it in a small area with the tooth brush to see if you are happy with the product .
Now you may think this is funny but I use "mop & glow" on hard "unpainted" plastic on the outside of the cars and trucks (after all this product is for vinyl which is a plastic ) .Again try this on a small area by putting the mop & glow on a clean cloth rag and use this in a non see able area to check that this is ok for what you want .This will give the grill a more high gloss look and be more "BUG" resistant.

At my local coin op do it yourself carwash they have this "presoak" stuff that just free's up all those gnarly bugs, beetles, birds and Honda's. Works great!
Then I just spray down with soap, then water, then I go home and dry it up. (I live really close to it)
Oh and I have about a gajillion coats of wax on it too... it helps

I sit down in front of the car and go through each honycomb using a soft towel with lots of soap and q-tips when absolutely necessary...
However I like Badsnke98 idea of a really soft 2" paint brush to clean it - I am going to try it..thanks!

Doh... Nope I just added that in there. That presoak does an awesome job on the grill and fogs.
