Cleaning exhaust tips

I have some FRPP Borla Stingers that are getting a little bit sooty on the lip and I have had trouble removing said soot. Anyone have a tip, product/method wise on getting them sparkling?

What material are the tips? SS or chrome tips? I think those are polished SS, I would try WD-40 or Simple Green on them, after you get them cleaned up, be sure to apply a coat of wax protection on them. I keep my tips Zainoed and all I need to do is hit them with detail spray and voila, clean.

They are chrome tips. I use some M80 on them and some rigorous scrubbing with a MF towel and cleaned em right up. Thanks.

Some metal polish to clean them up, and then a coat of wax to keep them from getting dirty later.
