I want to clean the inside of my engine compartment but i dont know exactly what i need to cover and shield from the water and such. Can anyone help me?

I can help you by moving this to the car care section where it has been discussed already

Just make sure you don't hose down the engine when it is hot. I wash mine with simple green when the engine is cool. The hose it down and start the car. Let it idle for 5 minutes.

Since you have a C&L intake place a bag around it before using any water/chemicals. Then, before you start the engine, obviously, remove the bag
