If you are a nut about having your Mustang, or any other vehicle look it's best...
Use a clay bar! I tried Mothers California Gold Clay bar and it is amazing. It's hard to imagine that a small piece of clay, a small spritz of detailer and back and forth rubbing can get out any impurity from your car's surface.
You know those tiny orangy-yellow specks on your paint? Couple passes with the clay bar--gone! It's like an eraser for crap on an otherwise perfect finish.
I clayed my car today (too late for pics) and it had 2 coats of Meguires NXT wax on it. No problems, pulled off the particles like magic.
Great stuff!!

You betcha, a clay bar is a must have part of your detailing regimen. Works good on a baked on bug too. It just makes you want to run your hand over that silky smooth paint too!
