Switch to what?
Usually a good washing with Dawn dishwashing liquid will prep it for a different polish.

Yup it's Meguiar's Gold Class. I really don't think you have to go thru a process when only switching car wash soap. If you want to remove the wax that is currently on your car, many recommend using Dawn dishwashing soap (minimal amount; cuts the grease). One you use the Dawn, I would give it a really thorough rinse and then go through your polish/wax process to get a protective coating on that paint.

Duragloss CWC has the most lubricity of any car wash I've used.

Available at Carquest, NAPA and others.

I like the Meguiar's Gold Class. Read good things about the Duragloss shampoo as well. Can't really go wrong with either of them.
