Which car wax/maintence products is best for a new Mustang?
Dang, This thread is reminding me. I have to clean my drivers seat. The light gray leather is a little dirty.
I use a bug and tar remover/cleaner on the rockers then 3m imperial hand glaze on the body followed by nu-finish.

Vista Blue's one of my favorite colors.
There are lots of quality products, and some not-so-quality, too... as you've seen above, lots of opinions and a lot comes down to personal preference.
Easy-to-find at the store, I like most everything Mothers...
Wash with a sheepskin mitt and dry with microfiber towels.
Dress the trim with a protectant.
Use a clay kit to remove surface contaminants.
Wax to protect though the Mothers clay kit comes with their Cleaner Wax, I also like their SynWax or Reflections Car Wax (all are cleaner/waxes, but the latter two are synthetics). If you get ambitious or you need a little extra polishing, consider a 3-step system like the Ultimate Wax System; or if you have a good machine, there's an endless list of alternatives...
If you get a one-step leather care product, that should do you for up to medium cleaning; otherwise use a dedicated cleaner followed by a dedicated conditioner.
This Foose Stallion in Vista Blue was waxed with FX SynWax...

Zaino all the way.
Microfiber towels and wash mitts ONLY.
Trust me on the microfiber. I did the cotton towel thing per Zaino's tips and it wasn't good. My previous car was black and Zaino did wonders in keeping the paint clean, smooth, UV protected and with a super deep shine. Looks great on the white mustang too.

This is a really basic question...
I just got my car from a the dealer on Wednesday and I know I should definitely put a coat of wax on the brand new paint soon. I've heard about Meguairs and Mothers, but I'm wondering what I should use on a brand new Mustang.
Here are some basic mantainence questions:
1. What wax do you guys use?
2. What kind of soap do you recommend to wash it?
3. What should I use to clean the vinyl and leather seats that won't make it greasy or dry it out?
thanks ,
