Car Drying with a Leaf Blower

I use one to get most of the water off and also out of the crevices. (Works best with a nice waxed finish) Then finish it off with a towel.

How else are we supposed to get the water out from our side & hood scoops, lord knows Ford didn't make them water tight!
Also blow out the windshield washer nozzles...

Cool Another Very Cool idea!!

Another very cool idea! Who knew? Sounds funny, but am betting that it works pretty sweet! I've been using my Sears shop vac (when it is cleaned out) in the blowing-mode to get all of that water out of the panels, grill etc. Smart folks those Stangers. Thanks. "RC"

Been doin' it for years w/ a commercial backpack blower. Yes, neighbors think I'm crazy.

Works great for the water behind the mirrors, handles, door cracks, etc. Don't be afraid to open the door and blow out the water from around the pillars too.

There's no better way for me to pre-dry the cars and bike than @ 120 mph! (no not on the highway but in the drive w/ a leaf blower ) and is another reason to keep a good coat of wax/sealant applied. Between that and Rain X water just literally "blows away".

I use an air hose at the car wash and people actually ask me to do theirs as well. My hose is only so long however.
