Mustang enthusiasts always seem to have the cleanest cars. I dont even have my Mustang yet, and I drive 500 miles or so every week, and I ALWAYS have a much cleaner car than anyone I know. Im looking forward to my Christmas vacation so I can spend about 6 hours one day cleaning my car.
This is the first I've heard of the California duster. I just looked it up on Amazon and there are several different styles. Is one style duster more preferable to use on a car over the other? Forgive my newbie question....I'm still learning
Use the Dustbuster all the time!!! (Before and after work...as long as there isn't a lot of dirt)... I also use Eagle 1's Wipe and Shine, on a daily basis (like it much better than Meguiar's Quik Detailer)...it cleans the surface and leaves it slick.
speaking of meguiars products. holy crap. I used the leather conditioner pads and I honestly thought it looked like a glazed donut inside my car afterwards. I didnt like how glossy it made everything look.

I love my duster. Having a black Stang, it's almost indispensible!
There are some who believe that using it will scratch the car, but I think the trick is to use it when the car has a light layer of dust, and no more.
If you wait too long, I can see the paint being scratched by dragging it across.

I love my CCD! It was one of the first things I bought while the 'Stang was being built!

And just like any other thing(like microfibers and quick detailer), try to keep it front-to-back on the horizontal surfaces and up and down on the vertical as much as possible to keep spiderwebbing to a minimum over the years. If they get soaking wet they make a hell of a mess though.
