What do you use to safely remove bugs etc from your car without scratching the paint?

2600 psi pressure washer.
No, not really.

I have my wife buy these little bath scrubbies for women.
They are very soft and will not harm the finish.
They remove bugs and road debris great.

Sounds like a good idea. Just curious...will they sell them to men too??

That will work for bugs, but for deep stuff and even tar, get the meguiars tar wipes sold in single packs, .99 a piece in autozone. WORK GREAT!

WD40.

Really--It's safe on paint. Spray some on, let it sit for a couple of minutes, then wipe with a 100% cotton towel.

Turtle Wax has a bug and tar remover spray comes in a yellow can. Spray on wait 1 minute and wipe off with a rag then wipe again with a clean cloth. Does not harm the paint.
