Bra scuff marks on hood

I have scuff marks on my hood from my bra, I tried to use Scratch-X, clay bar but nothing seems to work to remove the scuff marks. Any suggestions..

You might need to get someone to buff them out with something like a light swirl remover or perhaps something a bit more agressive.

I hate Bra's on cars!

Clay bars will not remove scratches. They just remove stuff like tar, bugs, road grime, etc. Since you have scuff marks your paint is most likely scratched so the only way to get rid of them is to polish the area. Depending on how deep they are, you might need to use an aggressive swirl remover (such as Pinnacle advanced swirl remover), followed by a fine polish (Pinnacle advanced polish). If the swirl remover doesn't remove it then you need something more aggressive like a medium cut cleaner. One thing I find with scratch X is that although it works ok by hand, it works better with a machine. Just remember that you are getting rid of clearcoat to get rid of the scratches (at least with most products).

Why would you use your chest to dry your car?

J/K, but the title did get me curious!

bra scuff marks on hood

Not to change the subject too much but would putting Saran Wrap on the hood before putting the bra on help with preventing scratches?

Polymer Sealant is good at removing scuff marks on the bra. Might need a few applications though and removal with a microfiber cloth.

The product I use is Polymer 2 Paint Sealant from Car Beauty Pro.

Are they "scuffs" as in the clear is damaged, or are they fine micro scratches.

Scuffs - May have to be re-cleared.

Scratches - 3M Ultrafina 3000, orbital buffer, and then polish, and wax.
