My question/concern regarding this foam is, when it leaks onto the chrome rims as its dissolving, will it damage it or fade the chrome finish over time?

have you done test on this? the last thing i want is after i hand wash my rims with soapy sponge, some tire shine leaking and streaking on my rims ugh..its a mess cleaning the streak..looks like it peed..

 

It shouldn't. But I always do tire first, then the rims, so I know for sure none of the foam/spray leave residue on the rims.

When washing my car, I usually go tire -> wheels -> car. Probably seems *** backwards to some people

 

Shouldn't...especially if you wipe it off. I used Son of a Gun for years before they killed it and now use Armor All foam (same stuff just pricier) and never had any issues
