Drive real fast.

(seriously) If you've been properly waxing your car and you need a quick wash & dry, just some fast driving will blow most of the water off the car. Typically you'll need to wipe down the rear end, but that's only a minute or two.

I usually carry 4 gallons of gas, spread it over the car, set it on fire... Gets the water right off, just make sure to stop the fire when black smoke starts coming up. Then I use a microfiber towel...........

Put it out with ice cold water and get that cool crackle effect everybody wants.
