My buddy came over today for his 05's first clay/polish session. I think it turned out fantastic I clayed the entire car, polished with Meguiar's SMR 2 using a Porter Cable random orbital, then applied a coat of Meg's NXT. The car is as smooth as silk

Very nice! Both cars look great. Love your deep dish bullitts, any issues? I am interested in knowing what size tires you have on the front and back wheels.

Wish I was there with ya. A Torch Red one would fit nicely in those pics! Wind chill is -7 degrees, yes, that's a minus sign in front of the 7. No Zaino for me today, I think that stuff might freeze.
Dave, watched Donnie Darko last night (finally). Wierd. I'm going to have to watch it again without the six pack, definately interesting.

Yeah that TR beast of your's would have set the black and gray off nicely. -7, eh? Well better you than me! Seriously, if it makes you feel any better today, I did get sunburned from the waist up since it was in the mid 70's here today
And it's about time you watched that movie - DANG! Yeah you need to watch it several more times to catch things you might not have noticed
I hope we see you guys at the Source thing in Birmingham. My wife says hi to you and you'rs
Stay warm you two!

Fronts are 255/45/18, rear are 295/45/18. No rubbing from the tires and no issues with the wheels - couldn't be happier

Dave... Both cars look sweeet! You really did a great job on your buddy's ride... He's one lucky guy to have a friend like you... I know it was a lot of work, but man does that black car shine! I detailed mine today, too... It's great living in Florida, isn't it.... Used a clay bar and the same meguires NXT wax you guys did... Not sure what the SMR2 is, but the wax was great!

Remember that when its 100 degrees @ 98% humidity and the 1st hurricane of the season is rolling in!
BTW, Ill be in Tampa area 12-19th. For a little R&R and see the White Sox play Tampa a game or 2.
flying, going to miss my car! Will need to drool over some of yours.
