No! Do not use dish washing liquid. This is detrimental to the trim and will dry it out. You can use Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer or also diluted Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner followed by the Trim Detailer.

Also, the next time you wax, take the time to tape off the trim with automotive painters tape or you can also use the low tack blue 3M painters tape (it has an orange core). This will save you the time and effort of having to do this extra step.

Use the best polish out there - Zaino. It has the added benefit of not putting residue on your trim.

All purpose cleaner plus a brush. Then wash like normal. Dry. Then apply a.good vinyl/rubber protectant
