2006 GT - Torch Red - paint question
2006 GT - Torch Red - paint question
Hi everyone - I have had my Torch Red GT for about 1 week now. I have noticed that there is a cloudy spot toward the front of the hood. My guess is that it is in the clearcoat. The paint looks fine. I have put a couple of coats of wax over that area (meguiars) and it is still there, though not as bad. I'm probably the only one that will ever know it's there because you really have to look, and it's only noticeable at certain angles and in certain lighting. Any other suggestions of what to try? I really don't want a body shop messing with a brand new car!
Thanks.

Do you still have this problem, if so wash the car thoroughly, clay bar if needed then use some scratch x with an applicator pad (follow instructions on bottle) and work it in by hand, you might need 2-3 applications (maybe more if its bad) and then follow it up with SHow Car Glaze #7, then High Tech Yellow #26 and you should be good to go.
PS the only thing you should allow to dry is the wax, so dont let the scratch x nor the polish dry on the car before removing it, but the scratch x work until it is almost clear.
