I won't take mine through a car wash, driveway only for her (it). I'd be jealous if I saw someone else fondling her (it).

Thanks everyone for your input,

I wonder if my whole house filtter will do the same thing the Mr Clean system does, it helped to greatly reduce water marks on film for the darkroom before going digital.

Do any of you do the fund drive car wash, where a bunch of kids, buckets and hose will wash your car? I was always afraid of having someone dirt rubbed into my car.

Thanks

i think its ok if its a brushless carwash that doesnt recycle (meaning they dont keep reusing dirty water). in the winter u obviously cant wash your mustang by hand.

Not with the stang - NO way.. Only with the jeep.

I take my car to those places with bays--no automatic car wash for me.

Never,
1. Car wash machines dont get the car truly clean, especially brushless ones.
2. Scratches the paint

3. Washing it by hand gives me a chance to rub my hands all over the car... and insure I wash it with gentle soaps and soft clean mitts and special bucket used only for stang.

4. in the process look for every little thing thats happened ..to my beautiful machine...
Here Here I'll second this one all the way !

We have washed it many times in the driveway.
Ive had cars damaged in automatic places before
so we are steering clear with the new car.

I've used the touchless one (just water jets) twice when in a rush and the car looked like crap and I wanted to get the dirt off quick.

no, never-I usually take mine to the self service and do it my self, with my own bucket and towels
