1st Detail on my GT500
Car only has 4000 miles on it. Previous owner said the dealer put their $400 paint protection treatment on it, plus he said it had only been washed 2 or 3 times since he kept it under the cover. Anyway, I knew claying it was gonna be a PITA. I was right becaue I trashed a whole clay bar kit! After claying & not finding any swirls, I polished with Wolfgang glaze/polish, & gave it a coat of Wolfgang sealant. That's where I was at when these pics were taken. I've since given it the 1st coat of Fuzion wax. By the way, this car has a LOT more orange peel in the paint than my 09 GT did. Oh well, I guess I traded clarity for horsepower!

Thanx! I'm originally from Fishers. Grew up there, & in Noblesville. Don't know whether the original owner took it to shows or not. He works for Indycar. Not sure if you saw my post in the "General Mustang Chat" forum, but the car was originally bought at Capital City Ford on the east side in Oct of '09. I test drove it the previous July, but couldn't get them to deal. The owner traded (or sold) it to Inskeep in Greenfield & I got it.
That explains it. It's good to see a fellow Indy resident on the forums!
Btw Someone told me that a group of mustang owners meet somewhere downtown noblesville every friday??? I haven't been out there yet but it sounds cool.

There's a big cruise-in Saturday afternoons at the courthouse in Noblesville. We do go there occasionally, but we've been doing "The Suds" in Greenwood a lot this summer.
