09 GT Spring 2012 detail

My usual spring procedure:
1. Clay
2. Swirl removal with Poorboy's SSR2.5
3. Polished with Poorboy's SSR 1
4. Poorboy's Black Hole glaze
5. Sealed with Poorboy's EX-P sealant

Here's where I tried something new:
6. Waxed with Wolfgang Fuzion

The guys at Autogeek said I'd see a difference between Fuzion & Natty's Blue. After looking it over a few times, I'm still not sure whether I do or not. I'm definitely happy with it, though. Looking forward to trying the Fuzion on different colored cars. I'm open-minded, & usually willing to try new brands, but I always go back to Poorboy's.

Looks great. I wish I had the confidence to use a machine on mine...I have already found some very minor scratches in my black 12. I had thought ( mistakenly) since it was brand new if i used super soft microfiber towles and only a spray wax i could avoid the scratches and swirls..but i may need to be like someone else on this forum and just accept that there will be some minor imperfections...will make my life a lot easier!!!

I think swirls & minor imperfections are inevitable. It's just a matter of keeping them to a minimum, & correcting them when you do a full detail. That's how I do it. Using a dual action polisher like the Porter Cable is pretty easy. There's good videos describing how to use it on Autogeek.net
