Finally opened her up on a stretch of road with no traffic and no cops. right before i was to teat her waiting for a green light to go, a Boss 302 pulls along beside me n we chat thru the light, still with no cars in sight and asks if i wanna run him.

I was like ok and he took off through the red light so i followed through maybe about a car length behind cause i did not expect the him to go through the red light. i run the gears to jsut under redline and hittin 100mph and now ive gained on him to about a quarter car length behind. we both hit 130 and neither of us is pulling away anymore. we are even. 140 and we both called it quits. He hit his exit but not before the that we exchanged.

Man oh man my adrenaline was pumping and my heart was racing. ive never been that fast before in my life in a car. I was glad i stucck with him. ive only been driving stick for 3.5 weeks haha.

also saw a v6 05 and i followed a bit and i think i freaked the girl out like i was a stalker or something causeshe pulled over n let me go.

Great story. Did you get any hood shake? When I took mine to 120 the hood had a good bit of shake that made me nervous so I slowed down.

The first time I went over a hundred, the hood was shaking a lot. Enough to make me slow down and then order some hood pins. No shaking now and have since gone over 130. Great story, BTW.

id look into pins but i dont plan on goin that fast alot.....im a kid soo any tickets ends my mustang run which hasnt begun yet

I had mine to about 105 and no hood shake
