"It will buff out"

Maybe it is just me, but this phrase needs to go away.

No, no, it will *always* buff out. Enough buffing, and the entire thing is gone, buffed away to nothingness. Might take a while though, some of those parts are *dense*...

I'm more concerned with the ambiguous misuse of "it."

LOL! I have found that sometimes a torch is required to buff adequately.
