Whipple problem
All I can say is their quality control SUCKS. 1st tune sent with wring VIN. Then faulty extension wire harness - netted me a 153 mile tow! Then upgraded to their 132mm throttle body and the tune for that upgrade won't validate - yet again leave Galpin Auto Sports without my car! Frustrating as hell - and of course no technician from Whipple is available on Saturday. Hell doesn't most mods get done on the weekend?

Sorry to hear Allen. I would be swinging at the fences myself.
I will get you a contact name and number at Whipple and he will straighten it out for you. Whipple does not suck as far as customer service is concerned. They are a great company to do business with.
Are you running their Whipple tune or a custom tune?

This is weird as I have followed a bunch of Whipple builds and none are with any issues. That does suck. But, I will stand up for Whipple as they are a good company with a solid background. I do not think they are open today as it is a Saturday, can't blame them on that. Do you do the install or have someone do it?
When you call Whipple,...ask for Dustin. He will be able to help you. Very knowledgeable and will get you straight on your way.
Good luck!

Then, that sounds like Galphin's issue. They did a shotty job with the install, not Whipple. All the Whipple builds I have read about have worked out very well. Most of them are garage builds too.

How is it an install issue? The hardware went in fine - the Whipple tune will not validate. It's a tune issue... Again. Before that. The Whipple wiring harness had a faulty pin inside of it. Again WHIPPLE!

That's one to the many that have gone very well. I hope it gets settled for you. Good luck Allen!

Good to hear it's finally running, but about that wiring harness ... when I had my Whipple installed, the wiring had to be modified by the installer, moving pins around and other modifications.
If that's something that had to be done on your car, I wouldn't call that Whipple's problem as much as the tech's that did the work.
What ended up being the issue with the tune?
