Because I'm already knee deep in an S197 love affair. I don't meet a 4.9 Windsor (didn't check the bore and stroke on the 93 Cora) taking up additional room in my wallet.

It all started when I was 11 my oldest brother got a 91 red hatchback with red intrerior it was a 4 cyl but it was still beautiful it was handed down from him to my sister then to my other brother than right before it was to be mine my parents gave it away and I got stuck with a 88 F150 after that I always wanted a Mustang of my own I drove a 96 accord around for 9 years and now I finally have my baby a 03 Mach 1..... but one day I hope to have a fox body hatchback red with a red interior but a 5.0 of course.

I was 19, in the Air Force and saw the semi make the first delivery of a 1964, White with red interior notchback to the local Ford dealer. They hid the car in the rear lot, since they had not been officially released; but I wondered in and just walked around it knowing I had to have one, someday.

Then I saw the Red one at the Worlds Fair in New York. I was on my way overseas, just married, and on our honeymoon, so the plan was put on hold.

Spent the next 10 years overseas, and we had two kids, so I waited until 1979 when the new gen came out, and bought my first..a Silver over Black Cobra TRX. Eight months later we were in Germany, with the Mustang. Now that was fun!

Next came an '86 SVO, a '97 Cobra, an '07 GT/CS and now the '11 GT/CS. I am now waiting for the next gen in 2014/15. But the '11 will stay in the garage.

My dad used to race stock cars on a dirt track in Hawaii while stationed there at the time I was born. Think the car gene is genetic.

Anyway I was 9 in 1964 when the Mustangs came out. I was hooked and became a full blown car nut after that. First car at 16 was a 66 Stang, 6cyl auto coupe in Nightmist Blue with Parchment interior. Beautiful car that was slow enough to keep me out of trouble for the most part.

Had a 66 GT 2+2 at 21, paid $500 and like an idiot wound up wrecking it. Springtime yellow with black pony interior. Would love to have that one back.

This 05 is my third.....when they came out I HAD to have one. Only new car I've gone into debt for and worth every penny. LOVE this car and the majority of owners I've met are cool folks.

Growing up when I did was a blessing for a car nut like me.

Love of cars? Always - since I could remember. I've been fascinated by beautiful shapes of metal and plastic being motorized.

Mustangs? Dad was a Ford guy, but the first car I really fell in love with was the 1994 SN95 Mustang. Had a '03 V6 w/ Pony Package. Glad I waited for the V8; if I was just a little faster in all the dumb things I've done in that thing I don't think I'd be here today.
